Tina & Alex were high school sweethearts and have been together ever since! Their typical date night is going out to a Brazilian restaurant. They were together 12 years when Alex proposed!

They went out to lunch for Brazilian food and the waiter accidentally splashed Tina and got it all over her white shirt. They were supposed to be meeting Alex’s sister and brother in law after but Tina insisted they go home so she could change first. She really wasn’t in the mood to go back out to “bar hop” with everyone but went anyway. When they got to Hoboken they went for a walk by the water. Alex was so nervous they stood there staring at the water for 20 minutes or so and Tina said “Hello, I thought we came here for drinks not to stare at the water.” (She feels terrible now thinking back because hindsight makes it seem kind of mean.).

Two minutes later Alex called her over to him and got down on one knee and proposed. Tina was so surprised she was speechless.
