Rebecca and Yona held their wedding at The Estate at Florentine Gardens in New Jersey. This wedding venue is one of the highest rated venues in the tri-state area.

About Rebecca and Yona

Rebecca and Yona met at the Collegiate Jewish A Cappella Group at the University of Maryland. Little did they know then that this would be the start of their love story. They were friends for so many years, but it wasn’t until Yona took a trip to visit Rebecca in New York, and they went on a walk in the park near her house, that they finally had what could be considered a “first date”. From that day forward, they were inseparable, and their love story quickly blossomed.

When it came time for Yona to propose, he wanted to do something creative and special that would truly reflect their relationship. He did not disappoint! Yona took Rebecca (blindfolded in the car!) to a beautiful zen garden on campus which happened to be right outside their favorite venue where they had many a cappella performances. He then played a sentimental video that he had made with her maid of honor, and in the middle of the zen garden, he proposed! It was an incredibly special moment for them both, and Rebecca said yes without hesitation.

The love and trust that Rebecca and Yona have for each other is truly remarkable. They understand each other like no one else does, and the way they are constantly lifting each other up to help the other become a better version of themselves daily is something worth celebrating!
